Second Hand School Uniform Shop

Lydbrook School has a supply of second hand uniform available for parents to purchase.  This uniform is available at school events, and parents can request uniform items at any time. The charge is 50p per item which goes to the LSA/School Fund. Parents are encouraged to donate good quality uniform items which their children have grown out of to the uniform shop.  At the end of each term, any un-named and unclaimed items in lost property are laundered and added to the second-hand shop stock.

PE Kit

From September, children will be able to come to school on their PE days wearing their full PE kit.

The PE kit should consist of:

·         A plain white T-shirt

·         Plain black or navy blue shorts, or plain black or navy blue tracksuit bottoms

·         Sports trainers or plain black daps (not fashion trainers)

They do not need to wear a coloured T shirt on normal PE days, which matches their house group. These can be worn on sports day at the end of the year. This will also save families having to purchase them early on in the new term.

Please ensure that T-shirts with logos, hoodies, coloured yoga leggings and football kits are not worn for PE. Children can wear their school jumper or school cardigan on colder days (not hoodies/ football kit tops).

Wearing PE kits to school on PE days will make lessons run more smoothly by saving time at the beginning and end of each lesson that would otherwise be spent changing. This means children will have more time to take part in their PE activities. It will also reduce the amount of personal belongings brought into school, helping to minimise the risk of clothing and other items being lost. We will send a PE schedule for September ASAP.
